Education Act 2016

The Minister may determine the following matters in relation to the administration and organisation of a State school:

the minimum and maximum size of a class or type of class;

the days on which the school is to be open for educational instruction;

the minimum number of hours that educational instruction is to be provided to a full-time student at the school;

the days on which the school is to be open for attendance by teachers;

the hours during which the school is to be open for educational instruction and other activities;

the number of teachers and other persons to be appointed or employed at the school;

the allocation of financial and other resources to the school;

the reporting of administrative and financial activities;

the manner in which an audit of the school is to be carried out;

the manner in which the performance of teachers and other persons appointed or employed at the school is to be evaluated.
