17 Part-time attendance of school-aged child
A parent of a school-aged child, or a school-aged child who is living independently from his or her parents, may apply, in writing, to the Minister to permit the child to attend a school part-time.
An application is to be in writing and made in accordance with the Ministerial instructions.
The Minister, at his or her own initiative or on the application of a parent or school-aged child, may permit part-time attendance at a school if satisfied that it is in the best interests of the school-aged child to attend part-time.
The Minister may – permit part-time attendance at a school subject to any condition; and impose any further condition or vary or revoke any condition at any time.
