39 Objection to participation in school activities
A parent of a school-aged child or youth attending a State school may object as a matter of conscience to that child or youth participating in an activity prescribed by the regulations.
A parent of a school-aged child or youth who objects to the child or youth participating in a particular activity must notify the principal, in writing – that the child or youth is not to participate in that particular activity; and of the reasons for the objection. Fine not exceeding 5 penalty units.
