An application under this section is to – be in a form approved by the Minister; and include the proposed amendment of the home education program; and contain any other information required by the Ministerial instructions.
A proposed amendment of an approved home education program may include part-time attendance of the child at one school for the provision of a course for the reasons specified in the proposed amendment.

Despite subsection (4)(a), enrolment for part-time attendance at one school for more than 2 full school days, or more than the equivalent of 2 full school days, in any school week may be included in the proposed home education program if the principal of the school – is satisfied that it is intended that the child will not be home educated in the following school year but will be enrolled at a school on a full-time basis; and has included a statement to that effect in the in-principle approval referred to in subsection (4)(b).
The Registrar may require the applicant home educator, in writing, to provide any further information the Registrar considers necessary for the purposes of considering the application.
