Emergency Management Regulations 2020

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Emergency Management Act 2006.

These regulations may be cited as the Emergency Management Regulations 2020.

These regulations take effect on the day after the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette.

In these regulations –

Act means the Emergency Management Act 2006.

For the purposes of section 60C of the Act –

an offence against section 60(c) or (d) of the Act is prescribed as an infringement offence; and the penalty payable under an infringement notice for that offence is – in the case of an individual, 9 penalty units; and in the case of a body corporate, 29.75 penalty units.
