Financial Agreement Act 1994
This Act may be cited as the Financial Agreement Act 1994.
This Act commences on a day to be proclaimed.
In this Act, unless the contrary intention appears,
Agreement means the Agreement, a copy of which is set out in Schedule 1.
The Agreement is approved.
The Treasurer is authorized, empowered and required to do all things necessary or expedient to implement the Agreement.
The laws of the State are – modified so far as may be necessary to give full effect to the Agreement; and to be construed subject to any such modification.
In this section,law of the State means any Act of the Parliament of the State and any subordinate legislation made under any such Act.
Until provision is made in relation to this Act by order under section 4 of the Administrative Arrangements Act 1990 –
the administration of this Act is assigned to the Treasurer; and the Department responsible to the Treasurer in relation to the administration of this Act is the Department of Treasury and Finance.
