136 Records or documents seized under search warrants
If a record or document that appears to indicate that an offence under this Act has been, is being or is about to be committed has been seized under a warrant issued under the Search Warrants Act 1997 – it may be retained for as long as is necessary to enable it to be inspected and for copies or abstracts to be taken; and it may be inspected and copies or abstracts of it may be taken at any reasonable time by a person who would be entitled to inspect it if it had not been so seized.
If a person has a lien on any thing seized under a warrant issued under the Search Warrants Act 1997, anything done under the warrant in relation to the thing seized does not prejudice the lien.
