99G Authority to possess and use paintball firearms
An adult is authorised to possess and use a paintball firearm if – the paintball firearm is in the person's possession with the knowledge and approval of the registered paintball operator or an adult employee of the operator; and the person is playing, is about to play, or has just finished playing, paintball on an approved paintball range.
A person who is 16 or 17 years old (young participant) is authorised to possess and use a paintball firearm if the possession and use are in accordance with – subsection (1)(a) and (b); and the written consent of a person with parental responsibility for the young participant.
