Consultation arrangements

The Minister must consult with the appropriate advisory committee established under section 27 of the Act in relation to the abalone fishery in respect of any changes relating to –

any area where fishing for abalone may occur; and any matter relating to the characteristics of abalone; and any opening and closing of the abalone fishery; and apparatus; and limits on taking and possessing abalone.
