16 Determination of market value
The Secretary may, from time to time, after consultation with the relevant fishing body – determine the market value of mackerel; and determine the market value of bycatch for the purposes of these rules; and publish the determination – in the Gazette; or on a website, maintained by or on behalf of the Government, that is accessible by members of the public; or in a newspaper circulating in the State.
A determination under subrule (1) has effect from the date on which the notice is published until the determination is revoked or a further determination is made under subrule (1).
