16 Offences and penalty
A person who – contravenes or fails to comply with any provision of this Act that is applicable to him; or fails to comply with any direction given to him or requirement made of him under this Act – is guilty of an offence against this Act.
A person who is guilty of an offence against this Act for which no specific penalty is prescribed elsewhere in this Act is liable to a fine not exceeding 50 penalty units.
