21 Person responsible for safety case
A safety case for gas infrastructure –
must specify the title of the office the occupant of which is in charge of the gas infrastructure; and must specify the title of the office the occupant of which is responsible for the execution of the safety case; and must specify the title of the office the occupant of which is responsible for the safe operation of the gas infrastructure; and may specify the title of the office the occupant of which is responsible for the execution of any part of the safety case; and must describe the means for ensuring, as far as reasonably practicable, that the office or position referred to in subregulation (a) is continuously occupied while the gas infrastructure is in operation; and must describe the means for ensuring, as far as reasonably practicable, that the office or position referred to in subregulation (a) is competent, by reason of having the necessary skills, training and ability, to perform the functions of a person in charge of the gas infrastructure.
