Guardianship and Administration Act 1995

Subject to section 35ZE, this Part does not affect instructions about future health care included in an instrument appointing an enduring guardian made in accordance with Part 5.

Nothing in this Part is taken to affect any rights conferred by any other law to consent to, or to refuse to consent to, health care.

Nothing in this Part is to be taken to affect any rights conferred – by any law or a court; or by the inherent jurisdiction of a court – to consent, or to refuse to consent, to the provision of health care to a person.
