4 Objects of Act
The objects of this Act are to ensure –
the quality and safety of services provided at private health establishments by specifying the standards to be met by those establishments; and that services are provided to meet effectively the needs of Tasmanians in accordance with clinical practice guidelines as to the provision of services and standards observed in Tasmania and elsewhere in Australia.
