A document that purports to be a consent given in accordance with section 7, 8, or 12 is not sufficient authority for a medical practitioner to remove tissue if –

the medical practitioner has been informed that the consent has been revoked; or the medical practitioner knows or has reasonable grounds for suspecting that a certificate given for the purpose of section 9 or 13, as the case may be, in relation to that document contains a false statement.
