Justices Order 2004

I make the following order under section 26(1A) of the Justices Act 1959.

This order may be cited as the Justices Order 2004.

This order takes effect on 1 August 2004.

In this order –

the Act means the Justices Act 1959.

For the purpose of section 26(1A) of the Act, the following are declared to be Acts to which section 26(1)(b) of the Act applies:

Associations Incorporation Act 1964;

Australian Consumer Law (Tasmania) Act 2010;

Births, Deaths and Marriages Registration Act 1999;

Classification (Publications, Films and Computer Games) Enforcement Act 1995;

Commissioner for Corporate Affairs Act 1980;

Consumer Affairs Act 1988;

Cooperatives Act 1999;

Disposal of Uncollected Goods Act 1968;

Factors Act 1891;

Flammable Clothing Act 1973;

Landlord and Tenant Act 1935;

Property Agents and Land Transactions Act 2016;

Residential Tenancy Act 1997;

Sale of Goods (Vienna Convention) Act 1987;

Sale of Goods Act 1896;

Second-hand Dealers and Pawnbrokers Act 1994;

Security and Investigations Agents Act 2002;

Unauthorized Documents Act 1986.
