23 Reconveyances in relation to notices of acquisition
Subject to subsection (2), at any time within the period of 6 months after a notice of acquisition is gazetted, the acquiring authority may reconvey to the former owner, wholly or partly, any land that it has acquired by the gazettal.
An acquiring authority is not entitled to reconvey any land for which it has paid compensation.
