Consent of Director of Public Prosecutions

Proceedings for an offence against this Act shall not be instituted without the written consent of the Director of Public Prosecutions.

In proceedings referred to in subsection (1), a consent to institute the proceedings, purporting to have been signed by the Director of Public Prosecutions, shall be evidence of that consent without proof of the signature of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
