Section 53A
1. 2010 transitional provisions
In this Schedule –
amendment day means the day on which the Litter Amendment Act 2010 commences.
amendment day means the day on which the Litter Amendment Act 2010 commences.
amendment day
A person who held an appointment of authorised officer under section 7 of this Act immediately before the amendment day continues to be an authorised officer under and for the purposes of this Act.
However, for the purposes of section 21 of the Acts Interpretation Act 1931 in its application to an appointment of the kind referred to in subclause (2) on and after the amendment day, the appointing authority is taken to be the Director.
