Interference with seized property

Current

A person must not interfere with, remove or damage any fish, vessel, vehicle, apparatus, equipment or other thing seized under this Part unless authorised to do so by a fisheries officer. Fine not exceeding 200 penalty units.

A court, in addition to imposing a penalty on a person under subsection (1), may order the person to pay compensation for any damage or loss to any other person.
