General power to make by-laws

Current

A council may make by-laws in respect of any act, matter or thing for which a council has a function or power under this or any other Act.

By-laws under this Part may be made so as to apply differently according to matters, limitations or restrictions, whether as to time, circumstance or otherwise, specified in the by-laws.
