328 Functions and powers of Association
The functions of the Association are as follows:to protect and represent the interests and rights of councils in Tasmania; to promote an efficient and effective system of local government in Tasmania; to provide services to member councils, councillors and employees of councils.
The Association has power to do any thing necessary or convenient to be done in connection with the performance of its functions.
