I make the following order under section 89B(8) of the Local Government Act 1993.
This order may be cited as the Local Government Order (No. 2) 2012.
This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.
In this order –
Act means the Local Government Act 1993.
For the purposes of sections 90(5)(a) and 107(2B)(a) of the Act, the relevant percentage in respect of the Central Highlands Council for the 2012-2013 financial year is 67 per cent.
For the purposes of sections 90(5)(b) and 107(2B)(b) of the Act, the relevant percentage in respect of the Central Highlands Council is as follows:59 per cent, for the 2013-2014 financial year;51 per cent, for the 2014-2015 financial year;43 per cent, for the 2015-2016 financial year.
