Parents of child patients to be given same information as patients

Current

A person who is required to give a patient a notice or other document under this Act must, if the patient is a child and the patient does not object, also give a copy of the notice or document to a parent of the patient at the same time.

To avoid doubt, for subsection (1) the giving of the notice or document to one parent is sufficient.
