211 Remote medical procedures
For the purposes of this Act, a medical procedure may be carried out in person or by any available technical means sanctioned by or consistent with – the operational protocols of the facility from or in which the procedure is carried out; or any clinical guidelines; or any standing orders.
In this section – medical procedure includes assessment, diagnosis and treatment; technical means includes video conferencing.
