I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 40 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 2001.

1Short title

This order may be cited as the Misuse of Drugs Order 2022.

2Commencement

This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

3Principal Act

In this order, the Misuse of Drugs Act 2001 is referred to as the Principal Act.

4Schedule 1 amended (Controlled substances and trafficable quantities)

Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Principal Act is amended as follows:

by inserting after item 121 the following:

Etodesnitazene (otherwise known as Etazene)

by inserting after item 191 the following:

Metonitazene

The amendments effected by this clause have been incorporated into the authorised version of the Misuse of Drugs Act 2001.
