Motor Vehicle Traders Act 2011

A licensed motor vehicle trader must display a full-size copy of his or her motor vehicle trader licence in a prominent position at each premises at which the trader buys, sells or exchanges motor vehicles. In the case of – a body corporate, a fine not exceeding 400 penalty units; or an individual, a fine not exceeding 100 penalty units.

If a licensed motor vehicle trader is in charge of premises at which another licensed motor vehicle trader buys, sells or exchanges motor vehicles, he or she must display a full-size copy of his or her motor vehicle trader licence in a prominent position at those premises. Fine not exceeding 100 penalty units.
