Obstetric and Paediatric Mortality and Morbidity Order 2011

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council and on the recommendation of the Council of Obstetric and Paediatric Mortality and Morbidity, make the following order under sections 5(7) and (8) of the Obstetric and Paediatric Mortality and Morbidity Act 1994.

This order may be cited as the Obstetric and Paediatric Mortality and Morbidity Order 2011.

This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

In this order, the Obstetric and Paediatric Mortality and Morbidity Act 1994 is referred to as the Principal Act.

Subsection (1) of section 5 of the Principal Act is amended as follows:

by omitting from paragraph (d) "Royal Australian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists" and substituting "Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists";

by omitting from paragraph (e) "Australian College of Paediatricians nominated by the Tasmanian Branch of that College" and substituting "Paediatrics and Child Health Division of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians nominated by the Tasmanian State Committee of that Division".

The amendments effected by this clause have been incorporated into the authorised version of the Obstetric and Paediatric Mortality and Morbidity Act 1994.
