Police Powers (Controlled Operations) (Corresponding Laws) Regulations 2021

For the purposes of the definition of corresponding law in section 4 of the Police Powers (Controlled Operations) Act 2006, the following laws of other jurisdictions are declared to correspond to that Act:

Crimes (Controlled Operations) Act 2008 of the Australian Capital Territory;

Law Enforcement (Controlled Operations) Act 1997 of New South Wales;

Part 2 of the Police (Special Investigative and Other Powers) Act 2015 of the Northern Territory;

Chapter 11 of the Police Powers and Responsibilities Act 2000 of Queensland;

Part 2 of the Criminal Investigation (Covert Operations) Act 2009 of South Australia;

Crimes (Controlled Operations) Act 2004 of Victoria;

Part 2 of the Criminal Investigation (Covert Powers) Act 2012 of Western Australia;

Part IAB of the Crimes Act 1914 of the Commonwealth.
