Australian Consumer Law (Tasmania) Regulations 2012

1. Schedule 1 is amended by omitting item 6 and substituting:

Property Agents and Land Transactions Act 2016

Conveyancing Act 2004

1. Section 3(1) is amended by omitting "section 162 of the Property Agents and Land Transactions Act 2005" from the definition of approved institution and substituting "section 147 of the Property Agents and Land Transactions Act 2016".

2. Section 5(1)(e) is amended by omitting "Auctioneers and Real Estate Agents Act 1991" and substituting "Property Agents and Land Transactions Act 2016".

3. Section 14(2) is amended by omitting "section 94(1) of the Auctioneers and Real Estate Agents Act 1991" and substituting "section 152 of the Property Agents and Land Transactions Act 2016".

Justices Order 2004

1. Clause 4(ra) is amended by omitting "Property Agents and Land Transactions Act 2005" and substituting "Property Agents and Land Transactions Act 2016".

Legal Profession Act 2007

1. Section 13(2)(j) is amended by omitting "Property Agents and Land Transactions Act 2005" and substituting "Property Agents and Land Transactions Act 2016".

Residential Tenancy Act 1997

1. Section 25(2)(b) is amended by omitting "Property Agents and Land Transactions Act 2005" and substituting "Property Agents and Land Transactions Act 2016".

Second-hand Dealers and Pawnbrokers Act 1994

1. Section 3(1) is amended by omitting "Property Agents and Land Transactions Act 2005" from paragraph (a) of the definition of second-hand dealer and substituting "Property Agents and Land Transactions Act 2016".

Security and Investigations Agents Act 2002

1. Section 41(1)(i) is amended by omitting "Property Agents and Land Transactions Act 2005" and substituting "Property Agents and Land Transactions Act 2016".

Shop Trading Hours Act 1984

1. Section 3A(3)(a) is amended by omitting "Property Agents and Land Transactions Act 2005" and substituting "Property Agents and Land Transactions Act 2016".

The amendments effected by Section 174 and this Schedule have been incorporated into authorised versions of the following Acts and Statutory Rules:

Conveyancing Act 2004;

(b)

Legal Profession Act 2007;

(c)

Residential Tenancy Act 1997;

(d)

Second-hand Dealers and Pawnbrokers Act 1994;

(e)

Security and Investigations Agents Act 2002;

(f)

Shop Trading Hours Act 1984;

(g)

Australian Consumer Law (Tasmania) Regulations 2012;

(h)

Justices Order 2004.
