26 Exemptions relating to operation of rail business, &c.
The regulations may exempt the Company, in relation to its operation of a rail business in Tasmania, from an Act, or a provision of an Act, that relates to railways or the ownership or operation of railways.
An exemption in the regulations prescribed under subsection (1) is subject to any prescribed conditions.
A regulation referred to in subsection (1) may take effect on the day on which this Act commences or a later day as specified in the regulations, whether the day so specified is before, on or after the day on which the regulations are made.
