Rail Infrastructure Act 2007

A notice or other document is effectively given to a person under this Act if –

in the case of a natural person, it is – handed to the person; or left at, or sent by post to, the person's postal or residential address or place of business or employment last known to the giver of the notice or document; or faxed to the person's fax number; or emailed to the person's email address; and in the case of any other person, it is – left at, or sent by post to, the person's principal or registered office or principal place of business; or faxed to the person's fax number; or emailed to the person's email address.
