Rail Infrastructure (Rail Network) Order 2009

I make the following order under section 49 of the Rail Infrastructure Act 2007.

This order may be cited as the Rail Infrastructure (Rail Network) Order 2009.

This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

The Acts Interpretation Act 1931 applies to the interpretation of this order as if it were regulations.

In this order, the Rail Infrastructure Act 2007 is referred to as the Principal Act.

Part 1 of Schedule 1 to the Principal Act is amended as follows:

by omitting from item 2 "Bridgewater to Maydena)" and substituting "the Bridgewater junction to the rail yard west of Maydena known as the "Florentine rail yard")";

by omitting from item 5 "the East Tamar junction)" and substituting "Western Junction)";

by omitting from item 6 "running from Western Junction to Wiltshire)" and substituting "commencing at the western end of the rail bridge on the North Esk River and running to Wiltshire via the East Tamar junction and Western Junction".

The amendments effected by this clause have been incorporated into the authorised version of the Rail Infrastructure Act 2007.
