Removal of Fortifications Act 2017

A fortification removal order remains in effect until – the expiry of a 12-month period, commencing on the day on which the compliance period for the order ends in accordance with section 14; or if the order is withdrawn before the expiry of the period referred to in paragraph (a), the day on which the order is withdrawn.

A fortification removal order does not have effect for any period during which its operation is stayed by a court of competent jurisdiction.

A period during which a fortification removal order does not have effect because it is stayed by a court of competent jurisdiction does not form part of the period specified under subsection (1).
