Removal of Fortifications Act 2017

An inspection order must specify – the premises to be entered and inspected; and subject to subsection (2), the period during which a police officer is authorised to inspect the premises; and that it is an offence to remove, obscure, damage or destroy a copy of an inspection order that is affixed in accordance with section 28 before the day after the last day of the period specified under paragraph (b).

The period specified under subsection (1)(b) must not end after the day that is 3 years after the day on which the fortification removal order ceased to have effect.
