179 Stopping in a loading zone
A driver must not stop in a loading zone unless the driver is driving – a public bus that is dropping off, or picking up, passengers; or a truck or service vehicle, together with any trailer that it may be towing, that is dropping off, or picking up, goods in the course of business; or a vehicle that is permitted to stop in the loading zone under another law of this jurisdiction. A driver who is permitted to stop in a loading zone must not stay continuously in the zone for longer than – 30 minutes; or if information on or with the loading zone sign applying to the loading zone indicates another time – the indicated time; or for a driver who is permitted to stop in the loading zone under another law of this jurisdiction that provides for a shorter period – that period. A loading zone is a length of a road to which a loading zone sign applies.
