I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 11 of the State Service Act 2000.

1Short title

This order may be cited as the State Service (Restructuring) Order 2024.

2Commencement

This order takes effect on 1 July 2024.

3Amalgamation

The following parts of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania are amalgamated with the Department of State Growth:

the part known as Private Forests Tasmania;

the part known as the Forest Practices Authority;

the part known as Forest Policy.
