I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 11 of the State Service Act 2000.

1Short title

This order may be cited as the State Service (Restructuring) Order (No. 2) 2024.

2Commencement

This order takes effect on 1 November 2024.

3Amalgamation

The part of the Department of Premier and Cabinet, known as Aboriginal Heritage Tasmania, is amalgamated with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania.

The following parts of the Department of Premier and Cabinet are amalgamated with the Department of State Growth:the part known as Strategic Regional Partnerships; the part known as the State Planning Office.
