The office of a member of the Committee is not an office of profit or emolument within the meaning of the Constitution Act 1934 and the acceptance and holding of such an office does not –

render the holder of the office incapable of sitting or voting as a member of either House of Parliament; or make void the election of the holder of the office as a member of either House of Parliament.
