263A Pleadings to give necessary particulars
A pleading in a defamation action must give such particulars of any claim, defence or other matter pleaded by the party as are necessary to enable the opposite party to identify the case that the pleading requires him or her to meet.
The particulars to be given must be set out in the pleading or, if that is inconvenient, set out in a separate document referred to in the pleading and filed with the pleading.
