409 Answers to interrogatories and affidavit verifying
A person required to answer interrogatories is to answer each interrogatory by a document identifying each separate interrogatory by its distinctive number followed by – the answer to that interrogatory; or the objection to answering it with a concise statement of the reasons for the objection.
A person required to answer interrogatories is to – verify the answers and objections to interrogatories by an affidavit exhibiting a copy of the interrogatories and the answers and objections; and file the affidavit, and serve a copy of it on the party interrogating, within 14 days after the interrogatories are delivered.
In an action against or by the Sheriff or a similar officer in respect of any matter connected with the execution of that person's office, the affidavit verifying answers to interrogatories is to be made by the officer actually concerned.
