904 Return of writ
An order is not to be issued for the return of any writ.
A party at whose instance a writ is issued may give notice to the Sheriff to – return the writ; or make a report within a specified period, being not less than 8 days.
If the Sheriff fails to comply with a notice under subrule (2), the Sheriff is liable to attachment on the application of the party giving the notice.
