Tasmanian Ports Corporation Act 2005

In this section – document means a document, or part of a document – that was in force immediately before the transfer day; and in which there is a reference to one or more of the port companies – but does not include a document, or part of a document, that relates to a Crown asset or liability.

Unless the context or subject matter of a document requires otherwise, on and after the transfer day a reference in the document to a port company is taken, where appropriate, to be or include a reference to the Corporation.
