12 Report on contravention of Part 2
If, as a result of an inspection, the Ombudsman is of the opinion that a member of the Tasmania Police Service has contravened the Commonwealth Act or that the Commissioner has contravened section 6(c), the Ombudsman must –
allow the Commissioner an opportunity to provide written comments in respect of that matter; and include in the report under section 9(b) or section 11(1) – a report on the contravention; and a copy of the written comments of the Commissioner.
