41J Unlawful road markings
A person must not, without lawful excuse, mark or otherwise place on a road anything that purports to be a road marking. Fine not exceeding 20 penalty units.
In this section – mark means mark by the use of paint, tape or other means; paint includes wash and chalk; road marking means a road marking within the meaning of the Road Rules.
