Schedule 1 Savings and Transitional Provisions
Section 33
1. Money held before commencement of Act This Act applies to unclaimed money held before the commencement of this Act in the same manner as it applies to unclaimed money held after that commencement.
2. Time running before commencement of Act A period specified in this Act includes any part of that period that may have occurred before the commencement of this Act.
3. Money paid to Treasurer under earlier Act Any money paid to the Treasurer in compliance with the Unclaimed Moneys Act 1918 is taken to have been paid to the Treasurer under this Act.
