50B Review of determination
An owner of land or a rating authority, within a period of 60 days after a copy of a determination is published in the Gazette under section 50A, may apply to the Valuer-General for a review of that determination.
An application for a review of a determination is to be in writing and accompanied by a statement of the grounds on which the application is made and any supporting evidence on which the applicant proposes to rely.
As soon as may be practicable, the Valuer-General is to – consider the application; and affirm or vary the determination to which it relates.
The Valuer-General is to – give notice in writing of any variation or affirmation to the applicant; and cause a copy of any varied adjustment factor to be published as provided by section 50A(7)(b).
A determination varied under this section has the same effect as if it had been made under section 50A.
A determination, affirmation or variation made by the Valuer-General under this Part is not subject to review under the Judicial Review Act 2000.
