7 Maximum tyre pressures
A person must not use, or cause or permit the use of, a light vehicle with pneumatic tyres inflated to a pressure exceeding –
the pressure recommended by the tyre manufacturer; or
825 kilopascals in the case of a radial tyre; or
700 kilopascals in any other case.
In the case of – a first offence, a fine not exceeding 20 penalty units; or a subsequent offence, a fine not exceeding 40 penalty units.
