Allocation of demerit points for deemed conviction

Current

For section 257 of the Act in its application to a deemed conviction for an offence against the Act, the licence is to be allocated the number of demerit points specified in column 5 of the table in Schedule 4 for the offence.

In this regulation – deemed conviction means a conviction in accordance with section 20 of the Monetary Penalties Enforcement Act 2005.
