45 Effect of failure of disposition
To the extent that any disposition of property in a will, other than the exercise of a power of appointment, is ineffective wholly or in part, the will takes effect as if the property or the undisposed part of the property were part of the residuary estate of the testator.
This section does not apply if a contrary intention appears in the will.
